Project Description
Our Money Management workers support women and families to maximise their income, address debt, budgeting and show them how to complete a comparison to access cheaper and more efficient fuel options, to save and imprtove on their fuel expenditure. A full income and outgoing expenditure will be completed and advice given, if needed, to identify and reduce instances of fuel poverty. Providing advocacy to women and familes, negotiating priority and non-priority debts, arrears and offering energy efficiency advice.
Our Moment Management team will hold assessments at the Venus Centre and also at the families home, when requested. We offer support, advice and advocacy concerning affordable utilities, energy efficiency and persistent debt.
Our Open Access service is also available daily at the Venus Centre, Monday to Thursday 1pm – 4:30pm and Friday 12:30pm – 3:30pm. No appointment is required for this service as it operates on a first come first served basis.
